Is this zine SFW or NFSW?
Eidolon is a SFW zine with an NSFW digital only add-on Spectre.Is this zine for-profit or for-charity?
The zine will be an equal 50-50 split between for-profit and for-charity. The charity is still to be chosen but contributor compensation and production will be prioritized above all else.Are minors allowed to participate?
Minors 16+ will be allowed to apply for the SFW zine only. They will be eligible to receive compensation in the form of physical products produced for the SFW zine; however, due to Eidolon being half for-profit and unfortunate labor laws, we will not be able to provide monetary compensation. Minors' portion of the profits will be donated either to the zine's chosen charity or to a charity of their choosing at the end of the production period after profit splits have been calculated. As long as contributors are 16+ by the time they submit their application for the SFW zine then their application is valid for consideration. The same age rule applies to 18+ contributors applying to the NSFW zine.Will there be separate servers for the SFW zine and NSFW zine?
No, there will be only one server divided into different sections. The mods will closely monitor the server to ensure no content leaks out of their designated areas to keep the server properly divided and keep minors from gaining NSFW access, no exceptions. If a minor is found to be lying about their age for NSFW access and/or monetary gain, they will be kicked and banned from the project.How many contributors will there be?
The exact breakdown of contributor numbers, excluding guests, is as follows:
- Eidolon (SFW) Writers: 8
- Eidolon (SFW) Artists: 13
- Eidolon (SFW) Merch Artists: 3
- Spectre (NSFW) Writers: 5
- Spectre (NSFW) Artists: 5Are ships allowed?
Yes, ships are allowed and even encouraged. We will leave ships up to the individual contributors, but the acceptable ship configurations are as listed:
- Gen/No Pairings: No pairings between any characters at all.
- 1 Main Character Pairing: A pairing between two of the three main characters with the third character not romantically involved with anyone. I.E. TDBK + single Deku, BKDK + single Todoroki, or TDDK + single Bakugou.
- 1 Main Character Pairing and 1 Background Pairing: A pairing between two of the three main characters with the third character having a small background pairing that does not drive the story. For example, BKDK with side pairing TodoKami.
- No Main Character Pairings and 1, 2, or 3 Background Pairings: None of the main characters are together and 1, 2, or all 3 of them have small background pairings.
- Polyam TDBKDK: All three main characters are together in some polyam format, whether that be a triad or Vee formation polycule.
If you are unsure about whether your ship idea(s) would be accepted, don't be afraid to reach out!How should the theme be interpreted?
The zine has a very "open interpretation" theme. As long as ghosts are involved in some capacity then it will most likely be accepted. Some examples include the boys being ghosts, the boys being ghost hunters, or even the boys pranking each other and/or their friends with fakes ghosts.Will this zine stick to a certain genre?
No. We want to allow contributors free reign on the genre their content may fall into. Emotional stories like Bly Manor? Thriller stories like Grave Encounters? Silly crack content about fake, prank ghosts? All acceptable!Are there any content restrictions for the SFW zine?
As long as the main zine remains SFW and Todoroki, Bakugou, and Midoriya are main characters in your concept then there are no other hard restrictions. Things such as gore, violence, etc. will be judged on a case-by-case basis with the individual contributor.Are there any content restrictions for the NSFW zine?
Things Spectre will allow are as follows:
- Explicit Sexual Content
- Blood/Gore
- Major Character Death
Things Spectre will not allow are as follows:
- Noncon/Dubcon
- Scat
- Vore
- Incest
- Emetophilia
- Age Gaps (Adult x Minor)

Contributor Guidelines
For Application:
Writers:
- Must provide three samples to be reviewed and judged.
- All samples should be between 1,000 and 3,000 words. There is a 300 word overflow allowed, but 1,000 words is a hard minimum.
- At least ONE sample must be BnHA.
- At least ONE sample must feature at least two characters out of the trio as main characters. They do not, however, need to be a ship.
- Alternatively, at least TWO samples must include at least one character from the trio respectively, but they should not be the same character. For example, one sample may have Bakugou as the main character while another sample may have Todoroki as the main character.
- At least ONE sample must be a completed story. Excerpts are allowed but should be able to stand on their own.

- Alternatively, at least TWO samples must include at least one character from the trio respectively, but they should not be the same character. For example, you can submit two different single-character charm designs, one of Bakugou and one of Todoroki.

For the Zine (Upon Acceptance):
Writers:
- Must write one piece involving all three characters in the theme of Ghosts.
- Eidolon writers will have a word count range of 2k-4k.
- Spectre writers will have a word count range of 3k-5k.Artists:
- Must create a single-page illustration involving all three characters in the theme of Ghosts.
- There will be an option available for two-page spreads and comics, but will be limited to only a handful of artists.
- There will also be an option to create splash illustrations to accompany/add color to a writer's story.Merch Artists:
- Must create at least two physical merch items involving all three characters in the theme of Ghosts.
- Merch items will be discussed upon acceptance to the zine and entry to the server.
